Melissa Henkel Bio
Hello! I am Melissa Henkel. I graduated from UWM with a degree in Education and a minor in Psychology. For seven years I worked at an after school program in Milwaukee with kindergarteners, first, and second graders. In 1996 I started at St. Charles as an aide. For the next seven years, I assisted in grades K-8 before becoming the third grade teacher. This year is my seventh year in third grade. I enjoy teaching very much. I love being on a parent/teacher team in helping students become all they can be.
I am married and have four children of my own. Their ages vary from 18 years to 3 years. I have three dogs, one cat, and three mice. My house is full and very active.
I am looking forward to an exciting year!
